About

Named after a star you can check your eyesight on.

Mizar is the middle star in the handle of the Big Dipper. Look closely and it has a faint companion, Alcor. For centuries people used the pair as a simple test: if you could tell them apart, your eyes were good.

That is the standard here. Look closely, notice the small thing, get it right. Mizar Media LLC was founded in 2021 and is owned and run by Nation Goetter, a filmmaker and producer who also builds software. The company now lives in Star, Idaho.
